Donations instead of gifts: online voting starts

Once again this year, HANSA-FLEX has decided not to send Christmas presents to customers and is instead donating to a good cause

The Donations Instead of Gifts campaign is now well established and has received a lot of positive feedback. This year, HANSA‑FLEX will once again refrain from sending Christmas presents to customers and instead donate to a good cause.
As Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine continues and is still affecting the Ukrainian population, we would like to support the Ukraine Solidarity Foundation with a donation this year too. This year's total amount of 40,000 euros will be divided between three projects that will help to rebuild the social infrastructure in Odessa Oblast. To promote transparency and co-determination among customers, suppliers, employees and partners, there will once again be an online vote in which participants can decide which project receives how much money. Voting is now open on the campaign website www.hansa-flex.de/weihnachten. Once the voting is complete, the money will be distributed as follows: 1st place = EUR 20,000, 2nd place = EUR 15,000 and 3rd place = EUR 5,000.
The following three projects are to be supported this year and are up for selection in the online voting. Project 1: The psychiatric clinic in Ivano-Frankivsk is an important refuge for internally displaced persons from the country's embattled regions who are suffering from severe psychological stress. Project 2: In Odessa Oblast, eleven children's homes are being supported to give new hope to mentally and severely disabled children without parents. Project 3: Hot meals and support during winter storms: Three new field kitchens have been introduced in Odessa Oblast to provide help amid the challenges of winter storms and damaged infrastructure.

Further information on the individual projects and other relief efforts can be found on the campaign website https://weihnachtsaktion.hansa-flex.com/en/donation-instead-of-gifts-2023/

In addition to the HANSA‑FLEX donation campaign, the Ukraine Solidarity Foundation is always happy to receive further donations to help with the reconstruction of the country. Information on the goods required and the processing of donations in cash and in kind can be found at: https://stiftung-solidaritaet-ukraine.de/spenden/
